It’s A Wrap! The End-of-Year “Holiday” Edition #HRCarnival

The HR blogosphere has been busy and our December 2017 End-of-Year edition provides just the tiniest snippet of what human resources professionals have been discussing throughout the year. Interestingly enough we’ve had no submittals about Chatbots, AI, GDPR or Blockchain. No discussion of people analytics. Nary a whisper about sourcing, recruiting or the death, rise, or disruption of the ATS (Google Jobs anyone?). No employer branding. Nothing about diversity and inclusion.

But, the way the Carnival works, bloggers submit a post to be included; this is not a curated process wherein we go out and search what’s being talked about. So, with that being said, I do think our collection of submitted posts from 2017 does accurately reflect the sorts of topics that have been regularly discussed this year in HR Departments around the globe. These posts represent the topics that are, quite often, front and center for HR practitioners and organizational leaders day-in and day-out.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the various Carnivals throughout the year; I can’t wait to see what we un-wrap in 2018!
