A Straight to the Point Carnival of HR

Hey there Carnival people! I’m still in the throes of vacation recovery (Time Zone changes wreck havoc on your sleep dudes) and slowly integrating back into my routine. Hey, did you know that while I was gone the latest Carnival of HR went live? Hosted by Nicole Jue over at the I4cp Productivity Blog this was the kind of Carnival that got straight to the point and let the contributions speak for themselves. So don’t wait another minute, head on over and check out what these contributors had to say!

The next Carnival of HR is coming up real quick on June 6th and it is hosted by probably one of the nicest, and smartest, HR guys you will EVER meet, Steve Browne at his blog Everyday People! Trust me when I say that you cannot have a bad day if Steve Browne is around. So it makes perfect sense that for this Carnival the theme is “What’s good about…”. That’s right, we are going for some positivity here people, so get creative and send your posts to sbrowne at larosas dot com by Monday, June 4th!

A Cake Filled Carnival of HR

A couple weeks ago I did an informal survey on Twitter: Cake or Pie, which do you choose? Lucky for the latest Carnival of HR, cake narrowly beat out pie. Why is that lucky? Because the latest Carnival of HR was hosted by Birthday boy Paul Smith at his Welcome to the Occupation blog! As part of the birthday celebrations Paul had a cake themed Carnival and boy, was it delicious! So if you want to get a piece of this HR and cake filled Carnival you better head over there now!

The next Carnival of HR is coming up quick on May 23rd so I’m going to need you to wake up from you cake induced food coma and get productive! That’s because the next carnival is being hosted by Nicole Jue at the i4cp Productivity blog! There is no specific theme so be sure to send your best to nicole dot jue at i4cp dot com by Monday, May 21st!

An Exceptional Carnival of HR

May is officially upon us and you know what that means: Sunshine, Graduations, and vacations. It also means that almost half the year has gone by. Man, time really does fly. But before you get swept up in all the glorious outdoor fun, the latest Carnival of HR is live! Hosted by Nancy Saperstone over at the Insight Performance Blog, the latest Carnival of HR was all about the exceptional. Exceptional workplaces that is. You know, those places you have to go to that keep you away from the glorious outdoors. Anyway, there is a lot of great and creative content in this latest Carnival so grab a shady spot outside with your laptop or tablet and check it out here!

Speaking of the exceptional, the next Carnival of HR is coming your way on May 9th and it is hosted by the always fun and wonderful Paul Smith at his Welcome to the Occupation Blog. Even better, it’s Paul’s birthday on May 8th! YAY! I hear he’s turning 21 again. So what does that mean for the Carnival this time around? It means that the next Carnival is all about Cake. No, you don’t have to write a cake specific post, but if you have a post related to frosting, texture, shape, layers, decorations, special occasions, candles, fire, burning the house down, why it’s better than pie, 1990 one hit wonders, why things are easy, reality TV shows… and so on. Seriously, there are a lot of places you can go with this, Or whatever, just send in something good. So get creative and send your submissions to pasmuz88 at gmail dot com no later than May 8th, and be sure to wish Paul a very happy birthday!
