Good evening Carnival of HR fans! The latest Carnival is live and it certainly is one for the record books. You see, we did something a little different this time around. Our brilliant host, Dwane Lay, gave everyone the same title “Safe at Home” and left it up to each contributor to determine what that phrase meant to them. I have to say, I was very impressed and touched by the deep, heart felt responses. So before you do anything else tonight, go here and check out all the great posts that are live now on Dwane’s Lean HR Blog!
Next up and kicking April off right, the next Carnival of HR will be on April 13th and hosted by the amazing Lois Melbourne at her Aquire blog! Wow, it’s already April and the quality level of each Carnival just gets more impressive each time. How can you not want to get involved?
It’s Carnival time again my dears and if there is one thing the Carnival likes to do is keep you on your toes! This time Paul Smith of the Welcome to the Occupation blog fame came up with the theme of “Worst of HR” but was unfortunately unable to host the carnival (Hugs darling). But luckily the awesome Stephen Harrison was kind enough to step in and host at his HR WhY blog! Stephen brought together a great collection of posts that will shock and surprise you and best of all, help you learn from others mistakes. You know what the biggest mistake of all is? Not heading over to check it out right now!
Finishing out this marathon of March Carnival goodness on March 30 we have the new guy, Dwane Lay at his blog Lean HR! Now few people can match Dwane in both smarts and fun so you should start preparing yourself mentally now. I suggest deep breathing techniques and pop culture trivia.
The Carnival of HR went international this week and let me tell you, getting elephants to board a boat to cross the ocean is no mean trick. They spook easily. And cleaning up after them… *shudder*. But it was all worth it I assure you. The latest carnival is up now over at Mervyn Dinnen’s blog and he did an awesome job! There are a lot of great UK blogs in this carnival, in addition to all those other blogs you’ve come to expect and love, so if you want to learn more about how HR is handled across the water you need to go check it out here right away!
Coming up quickly on March 16th, the Carnival returns to the States and is hosted by the incredibly adorable and fun Paul Smith over at his Welcome to the Occupation blog! Paul has something fun planned for you all, something that requires me to bend the Carnival rules somewhat, but totally worth it. Especially since every time I hang out with Paul shenanigans happen. And who couldn’t use more shenanigans in their life? I know I can never get enough. Stay tuned for more details coming to you next week in the Carnival of HR email reminder, and if you haven’t signed up for that yet, why not?
